Cooking Easier With Some Fine Steps

Truthfully speaking there really is no such thing as trouble free cooking though there are things you can do that will take a good deal of trouble out of your cooking.

Most of the tips here will be beneficial to novice or beginners in the culinary arts however: there are some great refresher tips for those who are more experienced when it comes to cooking as well. For more resources visit at www.chef-123.com. Hopefully you will learn some things through the next few paragraphs or at least remember some things you had forgotten.

First of all, cleaning as you go will take a lot of the trouble out of what comes after the cooking. When asked the least favorite thing about Cooking a wide margin of women proclaim without a second of hesitation that the clean up by far is the worst thing about cooking. To make things easier, clean as you go. Keep a sink of hot sudsy water ready to go the entire time you are cooking and wipe up any spills that occur immediately to avoid sticky messes that are much more difficult to clean afterwards. You should also note that if you transfer your food to serving dishes and immediately wash your pots and pans they will be much easier to clean than if the food is allowed to sit in them while your family dines.

My best friend is constantly burning her dinners. The reason is: She believes in high or low when it comes to cooking and there is nothing in between. Very few meals should be cooked on high truth be told. You are much better off to begin the Food preparation at a medium or medium high temperature and to adjust accordingly.

Make sure your oven is preheated. The temperature of the oven does indeed make a difference in the cooking process. While there are those that believe preheating is a simple waste of electricity it is what is required in order to achieve the optimal results when cooking. Most modern electric ovens will signal when the proper temperature has been achieved.

Select recipes that fall within your comfort zone in order to avoid making mistakes or becoming too stressed about the cooking process. Once you’ve decided on your recipe read it through a couple of times in order to be certain that you not only understand all the steps involved but also have all the necessary ingredients before beginning.

Wash your hands thoroughly and wash your hands often. You can also login to www.cheese-cake-recipes.com. Remember the sink of sudsy water I mentioned above? You’ll want to use it quite frequently in order to wash any surface, cutting board, plate, or utensil that has come into contact with raw meat in order to avoid cross contamination. The same holds true for your hands.

While to some degree these tips may seem a bit simplistic, when it comes to trouble free cooking there really is no such thing. The more you do to make the cooking process seem as effortless as possible the more trouble free your cooking will really be.

  1. RIDICULOUSLY BASIC COOKING HELP, for an inept cook.?
What are some easy (I mean, really, really easy) and tasty meals that I can cook for my boyfriend? I am a terrible cook (I usually set the smoke alarm off whilst making toast) so when I say easy, I mean basic. I can make some good scrambled eggs but that’s about my limit.

So not too long, and not too many steps or crazy ingredients. I’m fine with using jars of pasta or stir-fry mix or what have you, but please, give me every step!!

    Thankyou :]

  3. Get a bag of mixed frozen veggies, a couple chicken breasts (no bones) and some sauce of some kind that you like. (gravy, teriyaki, a vinegarette of some kind..)

Put some oil or butter in the bottom of a large frying pan/skillet.
Cut chicken breasts into bite size chunks, place in pan. Add salt, pepper, any spices you want (i use a little salt, a little pepper, and a little garlic salt)
Cook on medium-high heat until chicken is brown and cooked all the way through (cup open one of the largest chunks to make sure it’s cooked in the middle) Stir often.
Add frozen veggies. Cook for another 3-5 minutes so veggies are crisp, not soggy, but warm.
Turn off heat, add sauce. Serve.

  7. Spaghetti and meat sauce is pretty simple. If you make a type of pasta of your choice (it doesn’t have to be linguine it could be penne to) then boil the water then cook the pasta in the boiling water (I’m pretty sure you can boil water and cook pasta). Then you cook a thing of ground beef till its brown and so is the inside and just stir that around. Then you add a jar of spaghetti sauce to it stir it around on medium to low heat. then your pretty much done. Meat balls take a while and are not that basic so i wouldn’t recommend that but you can buy pre-made ones which will have directions on it and there not bad. Hope that helps and this is really good. Enjoy!

  9. STOVE TOP SWISS STEAK (TASTES JUST LIKE SALISBURY STEAK)
1/ 2 cup instant mashed potatoes (any kind will do)
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    6 beef cubed steaks
    3 tablespoons vegetable oil
    1 large onion
1 can of beef gravy or brown gravy
    1 can diced tomatoes
Coat steak with potatoe flakes and pepper (Mix it in a plastic freezer bag, makes it more evenly coated)
Put the oil in the pan, place steak in pan and cook on medium high
Once steak is done, add can of gravy & can of diced tomatoes, also onion, let simmer, stirring occassionaly for about 20 minutes. You can also, just throw all ingredients in a slow cooker, which makes it so much easier. Also, you can add two cans of gravy and two cans of diced tomatoes. Serve over egg noodles or whatever your preference is. If you cook it in a slow cooker, it will be so fork tender.

    Orange Pork Tenderloin Recipe
Quick, easy and elegant. Guests will think you were all day in the kitchen.

    Ingredients:
    1 pork tenderloin
    2 tablespoons orange marmalade
    1 teaspoon mustard
    Salt and pepper

    Preparation:

    Green Beans
These simple green beans are a great, less predictable appetizer or vegetable side dish. Using fresh beans and keeping them crisp during the prep are critical for this simple recipe to work.

    Ingredients:
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    1/2 stick of butter
    2 medium lemons (juice)
    salt, to taste

    Preparation:
Prepare the green beans by clipping off the stem end. Melt the butter in a saute pan on low heat. Squeeze the juice out of two medium-size lemons. Strain the pulp and the seeds out of the lemon juice. When butter is melted, carefully add the lemon juice to the pan. Raise the temperature to medium and reduce until the lemon juice and butter become a sauce. Do not brown the butter.

Place the clipped, fresh green beans in boiling water for two to three minutes. Do not overcook. The green beans should remain crisp. Strain the green beans and add to the sauce in the saute pan. Toss the green beans in the sauce and season with salt to taste. Serve immediately. Serves 6.

Easy Peasy Southern Style Strawberry Cake

    Ingredients:
1 (18.5 ounce) box white cake mix (without pudding)
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry jello
    1 Tablespoon self rising flour
    4 teaspoons granulated sugar
    3/4 cup vegetable oil
    4 eggs
    1/2 cup water
1/3 cup fresh strawberries, finely diced.

    Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

To make the cake, combine to cake mix, Jello, flour and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well. Add the oil. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition Add the water and strawberries and mix well. Divide the batter evenly into three 8-inch round baking pans that have been oiled and floured. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until a tooth pick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean and the layers pull away from the sides of the pan.

Transfer the layers from the oven to wire racks. Let them cool, still in their pans, for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, run a knife around the inside edge of each pan, then unmold each layer onto the racks to cool completely.

  11. Spaghetti- the usual boil water then add in the spaghetti. lower fire or gas to mediumish then put a timer for 15-17 minutes (i dont like mine mushy)
then remove the water and add a spoon or few of Creamy Alfredo! (i dont cook mine i just add it to the hott spaghetti). add some herbs if you wish like oregano or some parsley. also some capers if you like those.

(don’t know the name but i learned this from my mom) Boil water (not the whole pot but half or a little more depending on the size)until it boils, then add angel hair noodles and mix in a packet of seasoning mix (i like sazon Goya) , stir a few times. after 12-13 minutes crack an egg and throw the stuff in the soup then take it off the heat in a minute so the egg doesn’t get too hard.

  13. I just gave this recipe to some one else. But here it is again. I swear it is so easy and good. I make it for my kids.

1 box of stove top suffing mix. ( we like chicken flavor)

1 lb of ground turkey. ( or lean beef if u like)

    thats it.

Make the stuffing mix on the stove top recipe. but only use about half of the water it says. you want it kind of dry. Put it in a large bowl, let it cool a little bit.

Mix in the meat. Shape into balls. Bake. Done.

I usually keep some frozen veggies. and just microwave a serving of it.

It is the easiest recipe. and everyone loves it. You dont have to add spices or do anything fancy. The stuffing mix already has all the lfavor.
